The HA-872 is a hand-built multi-pattern large diaphragm FET condenser microphone. It is switchable between omnidirectional, cardioid and bidirectional polar pattern responses. It features two different switchable modes, “Vintage” similar to the vintage U87 and “Modern” with a more open sound. The capsule is isolated dual back plane 6 micron Mylar, 34 mm. center terminated, housed in a triple layer head-basket. It is equipped with a switchable 80 Hz and 180 Hz low-cut filter. Includes a custom shock-mount, 3 metre XLR cable and custom flight case.
