The AL2 stereo microphone system consists of a matched pair of large diaphragm cardioid tube microphones. The preamplifier circuit is designed around hand picked and matched 6189 tubes and employs close-tolerance matched metal film resistors and custom designed capacitors. The capsule is 33 mm with a 22 mm diaphragm. They are ideal for drums, piano, acoustic guitar, saxophone and cello pickup applications. The pair is furnished with a rack-mount power supply, Canare microphone cables, shock-mounts and a travel case.
