The GMT-220C is the third generation of the popular 220 electret condenser microphone designed for both studio and live applications. It is well suited for vocals, instrument, podcasting and content creation pickup applications. This version features a high-end Lundahl® output balancing transformer instead of the electronically balanced output of the previous generation. The new preamplifier circuit has been developed around Toshiba’s latest generation silicon transistors, Nichicon and Vishay capacitors. The body machined from aluminium and brass, uses a miniaturised design similar to the new GMT-70 and GMT-70 “air filter type” series. This eliminates resonances within the capsule housing. The GMT-220C is equipped with a 14 mm small diaphragm capsule. Includes stand adapter and carrying case.
