The model 40A is a “case type” tube condenser microphone with a chrome-plated head housing the capsule and employing two type 30 valves for use with dry cell “A” and “B” supply. Impedance can be selected between 50 and 200 Ohm by swapping terminals strips. Includes 12 ft. long heavily shielded cable, covered with mercerised brown braiding. Tubes need to be purchased separately.
