43F

Common name: Shure 43F

Production Status: Discontinued / Vintage

The 43F is a “Wave Equalized” condenser microphone designed for both stage and studio work. It is small sized and ideal where it is necessary to not obstruct the audience or the artist. The head is connected to the preamplifier by means of a shielded low-capacity rubber-conductor passing through the upright tubing of the stand. The height of the microphone is adjustable with a silent, smooth self-locking mechanism. This automatic “Friction-Lock” floor stand houses a two-stage high-gain preamplifier employing one 6C6 and one 76 type tube. It can be powered by the optional 41H power supply or batteries. Includes 25 feet of multiple-conductor shielded, rubber-jacketed cable.
