The 42 is a “case type” condenser microphone for broadcasting, recording and public address applications. It has high-sensitivity and uniform frequency response. The condenser element is tilt-able for optimum placement towards the sound source. The preamplifier electronics are based on a two-stage valve design and housed in the microphone case.
