The 510C “Hercules” is a “Controlled Reluctance” pressure-operated magnetic microphone using the balanced-armature Controlled Magnetic principle. It has high-impedance, high output, smooth response and semi-directional polar pattern response. High impedance output is achieved without a transformer by unique control of the reluctance of the magnetic system. The 510S variant has a 7-foot (2.1 m) fabric-covered, single-conductor, single conductor, shielded cable. The 510 is ideal for public address, home recording and communication applications.
