The 430 is part of the “Commando” series of all-purposes omnidirectional microphones. They are very rugged, can be used indoor or outdoors, hand-held, on a floor stand or desk stand. They are ideal for both voice and music pickup in public address, conference, communication, despatching, live entertainment, theater and interview applications. The Commandos are unaffected by extreme temperature and humidity. The microphones use impact resistant polystyrene and are finished in non-reflecting grey. The lower part of the 430 is made of die-cast zinc with a satin chrome finish and features an on/off switch. Impedance is selectable between High and Low. Includes 15-ft (4.6 m) of two-conductor shielded cable, swivel adapter and switch locking plate.
