The CM170F is a shotgun microphone with a C7 supercardioid capsule built-into an interference tube and a CMP1 preamplifier stage. This results in a very uniform pattern in the front +/- 90 degrees between 100 Hz and 12 kHz and a uniform 10 dB reduction across the sound spectrum. The microphone features an aluminium alloy capsule casing for a reduced boompole load. The very short length allows use in low ceiling indoor shot. Includes microphone clip, foam windscreen and 5/8″ to 3/8″ thread adapter.
