The EVO 251 is a large diaphragm multi-pattern valve condenser microphone inspired by the Telefunken 251. It features a LMI 143-S large core transformer with premium grade nickel and steel laminations and unique winding pattern designed by Langston Masingale of handsome Audio. The transformer has a very wide frequency response and is flat from 20 Hz to 65 kHz. The EVO 251 uses a custom-designed large diaphragm capsule, a Circle Audio 12AT7 valve and a state-of-the-art solid-state, switch-mode power supply. Includes Shock-mount, microphone cable, microphone box and power supply.
