The AL-Y56  Black Magic is a tube condenser microphone amplifier featuring an EHX 6072A vacuum tube, a 11.5:1 output transformer, 10 dB pad, and hand-selected components. Its circuit consists of a polystyrene input coupling capacitor from the capsule, Elna, Wima, and Nichicon capacitors throughout, 1% resistors from PRP and Ohmite throughout, and an Erse polypropylene output capacitor pushing the 11.5:1 output transformer.  The AY-Y56 is Black Magic ideal for vocals, acoustic instruments, wind instruments, and drum overhead. The Black Magic edition provides an extra edge for sound sources that need to be front and center in a mix in a classic way. It is available for purchase separately or bundled with three hot swappable capsules. A wide choice of Y series capsules are available. Includes power supply, shock-mount, microphone cable and carrying case.
