The Z² 67 is a multi-pattern valve microphone based on the Neumann M-269 and featuring a Lundhal output transformer. Designed by David Bock, the series comprises six models of reimagined vintage classics tone profiles updated with better specifications and re-purposed for current studio needs. The metal parts are manufactured in the USA while the printed circuit boards are custom-designed in Belgium. Each microphone is individually built for each client. Previous generation Z- Mod models can be upgraded on request. The microphone is available in a “Silver Edition” with NOS tubes, Z-Power universal, continuously variable power supply, stand mount, Rycote USM, T Super elastic suspension, Hakan pop filter, AccuSound Silver Pro XLR-3 cable, AccusSound Silver Pro HD 7-pin microphone cable, wooden microphone box and deluxe Tweed travel case or ‘A La Carte” with a choice of accessories.
