The MV 400 L is a microphone preamplifier module belonging to the “Generation 4” of Microtech-Gefell modular microphone systems. It supersedes the previous SMS 2000 series. It is an ultra-compact electronically-balanced and RFI shielded design. It is available with XLR (MV 400 X) or Lemo (MV 400 L) connector. Available capsules are the M 40 (cardioid), M 41 (super cardioid), M 42 (omnidirectional) and M 43 (wide cardioid). It is also compatible with SMS 2000 capsules.
