The Starmaker 101 is designed for ham, CB, base-station, mobile communications, and paging applications. It features a frequency response of 70 to 9000 Hz with maximum intelligibility in the range of 350 to 3500 Hz. The microphone has a cardioid polar pattern response to reduce feedback and unwanted background noise. The base of the microphone has a press-to-talk switch with a lock feature, and a tilt switch which activates the microphone when it is picked up. Wiring changes can be quickly and easily for use with different transmitter types. Includes 6 ft. cable.
