The MS-CMC-25 is a studio reference sub-miniature cardioid stereo microphone. It features 6 mm diameter nickel-plated diaphragms and ultra thin and fexible Mogami brand shielded microphone cable. This high quality lightweight shielded microphone cable enters the mic body from the bottom and includes strain relief for years of trouble-free use. Two removable clips and windsreens are included. The two microphone cables are terminated together into high quality Neutrik stereo gold plated 1/8″ (3.5mm) mini plug ready to connect to the portable recorder’s microphone input. For use in high SPL (sound pressure level) situations, the microphones require additional power, beyond the normal “plug in power”, using a microphone power supply such as the SP-XLRM-MINI-2-PHANTOM.
