The CCRM 4000-RF is a retractable electret condenser microphone designed for suspended ceiling applications. Its control ports allow DSP connection and daisy chain expansion to other CCRM 4000-RF retractable units. Main and secondary units are identical in construction. Two rotary 0-9 digital decimal encoders are used to set the main unit (00) while 01 to 99  determines secondary designation. Up to 99 secondary units can be daisy chained to the Main. The factory default is set to main (00). The XLR socket allows easy and fast connection of the audio to mixer or DSP. A 9-48 Volt phantom power is required. The IR remote control is supplied with the Main unit. It can also be used to activate the units in the absence of a DSP processor. A 2.5 metres audio cable is included. The microphone has a cardioid polar pattern and allows for 350 degree rotation and 40 degree knuckle joint angle. A universal mains switched mode power supply powering up to 4 units is available as a separate item. The microphone features a ceiling bezel with detection switch and an automatic safety detection for cable hang-ups. It is available in Satin Black or White finish.
