The Black Bamboo is an active bidirectional ribbon microphone featuring low noise, a higher output, more body and presence and a subtle de-essing effect compared to the White Bamboo model. It is equipped with a Lundahl output transformer. The ribbon element is a 46 x 6 mm, 18 micron thick and is protected by an internal multi-directional anti-pop filter with specially distributed mesh layers. The magnets employed for the assembly are specially manufactured, epoxy coated and N52 type Neodymium offering optimal output power and durability. Electronics components are tropicalised to ensure resistance to humidity. Includes Bamboo microphone box.
