The 017 Tube is a dual large diaphragm vacuum tube cardioid condenser microphone with a point-to-point wired circuit based around a 6ZH1P valve and a proprietary toroidal output transformer. The S17 capsule is hand tensioned and the microphone features a switchable -20 dB attenuation pad located on the BP – 017 power supply unit. It is ideal for recording vocals and acoustic instruments such as piano an acoustic guitars. Includes a handcrafted hardwood oak case, 6-pin microphone cable custom hand-machined shock mount and clip.
