The 247 is a large diaphragm vacuum tube condenser microphone available in either cardioid only or switchable between omnidirectional and cardioid polar patterns. It features a German made Thiersch M7 capsule driving an amplifier based around an EF86 vacuum tube and a Jensen output transformer. The fully regulated power supply features a pattern switch for dual-pattern models. The microphone body is manufactured from lightweight aluminium and is available in either Light Blue or Black. Custom colours are optionally available. Includes power supply unit, shock mount and microphone cable.
