The V1 is a bidirectional ribbon velocity microphone combining a very compact size with high quality sound. It is designed for voice and music reproduction of solo vocals, group vocals and orchestras. The magnetic assembly and its pole pieces are attached directly to the frame and the ribbon element is of specially rolled material resulting in high sensitivity and long life. It is equipped with an on/off switch. The V1 has a 35.000 ohm unbalanced high impedance output but was also available in 50, 250 or 500 ohm impedance. The V1 shock-mount is built into the stand coupler. High impedance models are equipped with a two-conductor 20 feet shielded cable. It is finished in chromium or gunmetal finish.
