The RE2000 is a medium diaphragm transformer balanced super-cardioid condenser microphone. The transformer is custom manufactured for the RE2000 by Jensen. The microphone is equipped with a heating system for the transducer and the electronics to make sure they remain in a consistent and controlled environment. The RE2000 includes an external power supply providing both consistent phantom power and power for heating the transducer. It can also be powered by phantom power via a special cable but without the heating of the “Constant Environment System”. The microphone has an internal pop filter to reduce wind, breath and plosive noise. It also features a 130 Hz, 12 dB per octave switchable low-cut filter and a 10 dB attenuation pad. The RE2000 is ideal for high quality recording and sound reinforcement applications. Includes power supply, external pop filter, shock-mount system, stand adapter and a hard-shell case. It is finished in low-gloss black powder-coat.
