The RE85 is a miniature omnidirectional dynamic lavalier microphone equipped with a shock-mounted capsule. It can be used handheld, hung on a neck cord, or on a tie clip. It is ideal for announcers, performers, interviews, panels and audience participation. The capsule assembly components are shock-mounted in highly compliant rubber inside a turned-steel case. This eliminates cord and clothing noise. The RE85 is equipped with the exclusive non-metallic ElectroVoice Acoustalloy diaphragm providing a smooth frequency response while being insensitive to high humidity, extreme temperatures and corrosion resistant. The microphone includes a lavalier neck cord, a tie clip assembly, a belt clip, a 30′ two-conductor, shielded cable and a zipper pouch. It is finished in champagne colour.
