The RE50 is an omnidirectional dynamic microphone designed for handheld broadcast applications such as news gathering and live sound reinforcement. The microphone is shock-isolated so that all handling noise, cable vibration and clothing noise is reduced. The microphone employs an internal zinc acoustic chamber that is shock mounted within the aluminium outer case. The components in the head of the microphone are nested together for maximum resistance against shock and mechanical damage. The RE50 features a grille that bounces back to retain its shape and an internal four stage pop filter to minimise wind, breath and plosive noise. It is finished in fawn beige (RE50) or semi-gloss black (RE50/B)
