RE11

Common name: Electro-Voice RE11

The RE11 and the PL11 are identical microphones. The RE11 is a super-cardioid dynamic microphone with very little off-axis colouration, reduced proximity effect and an internal pop filter to reduce wind and plosive noise. The transducer parts are nested together to form a solid mechanical structure that is resistant to damage from mechanical shock. The RE11 is equipped with a bass-tilt switch to correct its frequency balance when used on a boom or at long distance from the sound source. The passive filter cuts 6 dB from 1 kHz to 100 Hz It can be used handheld for close pickup. The RE11 is equipped with the exclusive non-metallic ElectroVoice Acoustalloy diaphragm providing a smooth frequency response while being insensitive to high humidity, extreme temperatures and corrosion resistant. The steel case offers excellent shielding against magnetic interference while providing additional mechanical protection. The RE11 is finished in fawn beige. Includes stand adapter.
