The 652 is a dynamic omnidirectional microphone with a semi-rigid tubing designed for television, radio broadcast, conference and lectures applications. It has an inconspicuous “Thin Trim” silhouette. The microphone is typically placed on a table stand but can also be used handheld. The EV652 uses plastic rings to provide two degrees of high frequency emphasis. The larger ring provides an 8 dB boost and the smaller ring a 5 dB boost at 5 kHz. When these baffles are used the microphone polar patter becomes gradually more directional above 2 kHz. The capsule is equipped with the exclusive ElectroVoice non metallic Acoustalloy diaphragm and an Alnico magnet. Includes 20 foot three conductor cable, model 300 stand adapter and two baffles. The microphone was available in lengths of 24″ (EV652) and 15″ (652A).
