Common name: Wunder Audio CM 50 FET S

Production Status: In production

The CM 50 FET Suprema is the solid-state version fo the CM 50 Suprema. It is a small diaphragm condenser microphone featuring a later Mylar M50 (M9) style spherical omnidirectional capsule. The FET circuit is audiophile grade. It is ideal for orchestral recordings, film scoring stages and drum room ambience. The frequency response of the CM 50 FET S rises slightly while becoming more directional at higher frequencies for direct sounds but remains flat in the diffuse field. The grille is slanted in order to present a continuously varying profile to the capsule and minimise standing waves. Includes oak wood box and one-piece yoke mount.
