The Ela M270 is a replica of the original 1961 stereo microphone. It presents the same performance as the Ela M251 but in a stereo package – two CK-12 capsules mounted vertically. The upper one can be rotated 180° to permit either XY or MS recording. The capsules (three polar patterns – omni, cardioid, figure-8) are laboratory matched. T14 output transformers and a NOS 6072 vacuum tube are fitted. Available in limited quantity. Includes wooden box, stand mount, power supply, microphone cable and carrying case.
