The Ela M251 originally available from 1959-1961 the Ela M251 was the most commercially successful of the five Telefunken microphone designs. This is a meticulous reproduction to the original specifications. It features a CK-12 capsule with three polar patterns – cardioid, omni and figure-8 – together with a T14 output transformer and a NOS 6072 tube. When available (and at additional cost) an AC701 tube can also be provided. The output impedance is selectable between 200 and 50ohms. An Ela M950 power supply is used.
