The Shure MV5C is a Mac and Windows compatible condenser microphone with detachable table stand designed for home-working, video conferencing and other home office applications. It features a headphone output for optimal monitoring and is compatible with third-party conferencing platforms including Zoom and Microsoft Teams. The MV5C features a DSP based “Speech Enhancement Mode” for excellent speech intelligibility. A built-in equalisation system boosts vocal frequencies within the vocal range in order to provide clear and consistent speech pickup while an automatic gain control in combination with a compressor and a de-esser provide optimal level and reduce sibilance. The MV5C is equipped with a small diaphragm 16 mm electret capsule. It supports sample rates up to 40 kHz with a resolution of 16 or 24 bit. Includes desktop stand, one metre micro USB-B to USB-A cable and one metre micro USB-B to USB-C cable. Requires OS X Lion 10.7 and higher or Windows 7 and higher, minimum 64 MB RAM and USB 2.0 port.
