The MC59 is an extremely compact medium diaphragm condenser microphone with a choice of cardioid, wide cardioid omnidirectional and hypercardioid (shotgun) capsules. It features a Class A amplifier with selected discrete elements including film capacitors. The capsules feature ultra-thin gold-sputtered and artificially aged 20 mm diaphragms. The microphone has a very low self noise as well as high SPL capability. It is ideal for recording and sound reinforcement in opera houses, concert halls and theatres. The standard version is equipped with a 3-pin XLR connector on the microphone body. The MC49 is also available in a “S” version with integrated cable terminating with an XLR. Cable length up to 200 m can be specified upon ordering. The MC59 comes in a carrier case and is available in matched stereo pairs. Specification refer to the standard size version with the cardioid capsule.
