The MA-1000 DS is a large diaphragm multi-pattern vacuum tube condenser microphone with a 251-style capsule, NOS 5840 valve and a custom designed transformer manufactured by Coast Magnetics. Polar pattern response is continuously variable between omnidirectional, cardioid and figure of eight directly from the power supply unit. The MA-1000 also features a switchable 15 dB attenuation pad and bass roll-off filter. It is ideal for vocals, voiceovers, acoustic instruments, piano, drum overheads, room ambience, choral and orchestral recordings. Includes Slig-Shock shock mount licensed from Royer Labs, power supply, Mogami cable with Neutrik connectors and carrying case.
