Common name: TX-3

Production Status: In production

The TX-3 is an omnidirectional electret condenser microphone for measurement applications terminated with a TA4-F connector for wireless transmitters. The three terminals of the microphone capsule housed by the microphone are available on the output connector without additional electronics in the middle. The microphone can thus be used for a variety of applications. Connected to the optional AC-2 active cable the TX-3 is transformed into a conventional 48 V microphone with excellent characteristics equivalent to the Millab MYc-3. Through simple adapters-cables TX-3 can be connected to inputs of any type such as an unbalanced preamplifier and fed with 2-10 Vdc for laboratory work as well as for recording studio, Hi-Fi or DIY applications. The tip of the microphone has a diameter of 7 mm allowing the use of standard 1⁄4″ calibrators. Each microphone is handcrafted in Italy and comes with its own calibration file. Includes foam windscreen and waterproof case.
