The CEL-4 is an omnidirectional electret condsenser measurement microphone for smartphones and tablets. The CEL-4 is equipped with a capsule that has been selected for the linearity and the extension of the frequency response, low noise, low THD and high immunity to electromagnetic interference. The tip of the microphone has a diameter of 7 mm and can be inserted in standard 1⁄4″ calibrators. The body is manufactured with the highest quality stainless steel (AISI 316 marine grade) and high precision machinery. It is also corrosion-resistant. Each microphone has its own frequency response compensation file and calibration chart. The microphone is protected by a cylindrical aluminium watertight case.
