Common name: Lewitt LCT 1040

Production Status: In production

The LCT 1040 is a large diaphragm valve microphone based around a 6DJ8/E88CC tube with continuously variable polar pattern response. The tube response can be matched to four different settings: clear, warm, dark or saturated to cover all applications. In a similar manner the microphone circuit can be continuously varied between a “Tube” and “FET” response. An additional output provides and independent “FET” output regardless of the “Tube”/”FET” position.  A filter is also available featuring Linear, 40 Hz, 80 Hz  and 120 Hz low-cut settings. Signal attenuation can be set to 0, -6, -12 and -24 dB. All those settings are available via a desktop control unit with detachable remote. Includes zippered microphone bag, microphone cable, stand adapter, quick-release shock-mount with carbon fibre elements, dual layer magnetic pop-filter and carrying case.
