L47-MPII

Common name: Lawson Microphones L47MPII

Production Status: In production

The L47-MPII is a large diaphragm tube condenser microphone based around a 6n1P valve, internally shock mounted Lawson L47 capsule and Lundahl output transformer. The capsule is interchangeable thanks to Lawson’s “Quick Change” system that allows different head baskets to be swapped. The microphone features a continuously variable pattern selection between Omnidirectional, Cardioid and Figure of Eight via the power supply unit. It also features a “Cardioid Only” switch and 10 dB attenuation pad. The L47-MPII includes power supply, 30′ microphone cable, swivel microphone holder, power cord, spare 6n1p tube and carrying case.
