This large diaphragm (25 mm) studio microphone has 9 switched polar patterns. The patterns are switched using a nudge switch and LED indicators. The LEDs also act as a peak-hold overload indicator (Max SPL -2 dB). The controls can be locked to prevent accidental changes. All control settings (including Lock) are retained even if the mic is depowered. The XLII is identical to the XLS except for a presence lift above 3 kHz.
